This is the lowest level API written purely in JavaScript, providing all transport capabilities to connect and consume streaming data from Refinitiv Real-Time Advanced Distribution Server. The CAT Streaming API encapsulates the steps and protocol mechanisms to communicate with the Refinitiv Real-Time Advanced Distribution Server. It manages the connection, subscription, image and coming updates, heartbeats between client and server, and also provides a failover mechanism.
